Kidspiration 2 is a great program for planning out any type of map for your students. I enjoyed using this Kidspiration 2 program to make my concept map. I learned how to make a concept map, add a links, add pictures, and many other things. I will definitely use this program in my classroom when I become a teacher. I think it is a very beneficial program. I will have my students use this program to make different concept maps on different topics we are studying in class, so I know that they know what I have taught. This program will give my students the opportunity to see how to make a concept map and see what all is involved in what they are studying. If I do not have my students make a concept map, then I will make a concept map for them. I believe the NETS-T Standard "Design and Develop Digital Learning Experiences and Assessments" is the standard this assignment falls under. The reason I think this is the standard for a concept map is because it lets the teacher customize a concept map for the students using technology, and then gives the students the opportunity to be able to create a concept map of their own using the same technology their teacher used.
